Hey dolls! This evening I have pictures for you of the first half of Mentality The Sparkies Collection. This set consists of black based duochrome shades that also include holographic sparkle. The formula was exactly the same on each polish. They applied easily in two coats. The formula was on the thicker side, but not in a problematic way. Each polish dried to a satin finish, so top coat is recommended if you want a glossier look. Photos are shown below without top coat.
Mentality Bang is described as a black crelly holographic polish with small red, gold, and green multicolored flecks with a gold to green duochrome color shift. This is one of my favorites from the collection! The color shift is pretty cool in Bang.
Mentality Kablooey is described as a black crelly holographic with purple and red multicolor flecks that have a purple to red duochrome color shift. The purple undertones are very strong in this one and was the color I saw most often.
Mentality Kaboom is described as a black crelly holographic polish with golden yellow mulitcolored flecks with a duochrome color shift from yellow orange to a yellow green. I wasn’t sure about this one at first glance, but on the nail it is one of the most unique shades. Kaboom has so much depth!
Mentality Pizazz is described as a black crelly holographic with green and blue flecks with a green to blue duochrome color shift. My camera freaked out a little with this one and didn’t want to focus on all of the sparkly goodness. You can see just a hint of the blue to green shift below.
I am loving the Mentality The Sparkies Collection. Black based polishes can be so fun and edgy. These have just enough sparkle to keep the girl who loves shimmer happy too.
