Hey dolls! Today I have pictures for you of another great polish from Bondi New York. Blue Skies is a dusty light blue creme with an excellent formula. It was pretty much opaque at one coat, but I did two for photo purposes.

Such a pretty blue! I have yet to be disappointed with any of the Bondi polishes I’ve tried. If you recall from the first time I reviewed Bondi Lady Liberty, the price point was $15. It has now been lowered to $12.50, which is definitely a step in the right direction. Bondi currently has a BOGO free promo using the code FBGETONE until 5.31.13. Hey dolls! Today I have photos of Cult Nails Kiss My Rose Bush, which was one of the polishes I used in the Pink & Teal Polished Obsession contest from a few weeks ago. Kiss My Rose Bush is a bubblegum pink that dries to a wax finish. The formula was a little thick, but applied easily. It was almost opaque in one coat, but two were used in the pictures below.

I really like this shade of pink. Kiss My Rose Bush reminds me of one of my favorite pinks, Zoya Flora. The wax finish is really great as well. There was something a little weird that happened when I applied Kiss My Rose Bush though.

See that random gash in my index finger?!? That occurred on two other nails on my other hand as well and I have no clue as to why. I used Barielle Nail Strengthening Cream and the Cult Nails base coat before applying the polish, which is my typical combo. I asked several others who had this polish and none of them had this issue. Even weirder, when I tried to polish over it to fill in the spot, the exact same gash was left! I don’t think I had any oil or other residue on my nails. I’ve used the other wax finishes from this collection and didn’t have this issue.

KBShimmer Summer Polish Line Set For Release June 1^st, 2013

Don’t Pink Twice –Bright near magenta pink with subtle blue shimmer – matte

24 Carrot Bold –Orange red polish with gold shimmer – matte

Blinded By The Bright – Neon yellow polish with a scattering of hex glitters in the 6 primary and secondary colors.

The Dancing Green –A almost neon green with blue undertones, accented by fuchsia, sapphire,  green and chartreuse glitters in different shapes and sizes.

Totally Tubular – A blue-green crelly polish with fuchsia circle glitters in two sizes and fuchsia micro slices, aqua circle glitters and sapphire hex glitters.

Totally Razzical – A red-violet shade leaning towards the purple side of raspberry. Loaded with holographic hex glitters in magenta, silver and pink.

Hey dolls! When I first saw pictures of the new Rescue Beauty Lounge Emoting Me collection, I automatically knew that I needed Turn It Around. This is a gorgeous mossy green that is filled with a heavy copper shimmer. Turn It Around had the same amazing formula that comes with all of the other RBLs I’ve tried. It was easy to use and flowed nicely onto the nail. Two coats were used for opacity.

Turn It Around is so gorgeous! It’s the perfect autumn polish. I wore this from last Thursday to Sunday while traveling and only had minimal tip wear. I know some people may not like the $20 price tag that comes with RBL polishes, but I tend to only pay that much for the ones that are extremely unique in my book. I definitely don’t have anything like Turn It Around.

Hey dolls! The theme for this week’s Twinsie Tuesday was to revisit a challenge that you enjoyed. As I just recently joined, I was given the option of completing any of the previous challenges. Last night I was not really up for doing my nails or anything challenging, so I decided to take on an easy theme: Indie brand mani. I recently purchased Daring Digits Neon Sugar and I couldn’t wait to wear it. Neon Sugar is a white jelly filled with various sized neon pink and green glitter. The formula was very easy to use and applied nicely. I used two coats over Essie Marshmallow.

I absolutely love Neon Sugar! My sorority colors are pink and green, so this glitter makes make so happy! I’m glad I picked this one up during Daring Digit’s last sale when it was first released. Be sure to check out the manis that the other TT ladies have come up with for this week.

Hey dolls! Hope you all had a great weekend! If you follow me on instagram, you already know I went out of town to see my stepdaughter’s recital. She did such an awesome job! After a three hour weather delay in Atlanta, the last thing I wanted to do when I got home on Sunday was my nails. Therefore, I’m postponing the Reader’s Choice look until next Monday.

Today I have photos for you of several Shimmer Polishes. I was graciously sent fifteen shades to review and you’ll see the first five today. Shimmer Polish is known in the indie world for their glitter bombs and they do not disappoint. The formula was exactly the same on each polish; the glitter is dense and easy to apply. I liked the way the layering glitters looked at one coat so I stopped there, but all of the polishes could be layered on its own to opacity.

Sarah is described as a tropical green and blue glitter. Sarah would be great over many different bases. I used one coat over Bondi Blue Skies.

Nichole is described as a red, silver, and blue glitter. This is the perfect patriotic glitter! I used one coat over Zoya Robyn.

The next set of photos feature glitters in colored jelly bases. The formula on these were thick, but still manageable and easy to use. I would recommend waiting a few minutes in between coats to prevent dragging. These dried to a dull finish, so top coat was used in the photos below. Three coats were used for each.

Karina is described as a burgundy wine and black glitter. I really like the addition of the black glitter.

Mary is described as a red, silver, and black glitter. The base color leans a little pink, which makes this one of my favorites from this set.

Vivian is described as a dusty rose, pink, and gray glitter. The base color is almost hard to describe; it’s like a grayish-brown taupe mix. Love the depth of this one!

Overall, I’m extremely pleased with my first Shimmer Polish experience. I’m so glad I got to review them, as I’ve had my eye on a few of them since their release. Over the next two weeks I’ll have photos of the rest of the polishes I received. Hey dolls! PURE Nail Lacquer is a new 3-free brand on the scene that was started by Danielle, a Christian worship artist. She saw firsthand the challenging situations that caused women to put themselves on the bottom of the list, while endlessly giving and providing for their families. Danielle was inspired to begin this line after wanting to come up with a way to make women all over the world smile, but also encourage and lift them up. The PURE line currently features 14 shades and a top coat. Today I have photos for you of three shades I selected for review purposes. All three are jellies, with a really nice, buildable formula. The polishes were easy to use and dried to a high gloss finish. Three coats were used for each. You will notice that there is still some visible nail line in the photos, but it was not as noticeable in real life.

Destined is a bright orange-yellow jelly. The formula was excellent for a yellow! No streaks at all.

Classy AnnMarie is a pink jelly filled with holo particles and blue microglitter. This polish was created in memory of her mother, who died from breast cancer. As my long-time readers know, my mother is a two-time breast cancer survivor, so I had to have this polish. Be sure to wait a few minutes in between coats to prevent dragging with Classy AnnMarie.

Lucid, which you previously saw in this subtle stamping look, is a gorgeous bright blue jelly. This polish is just screaming to be used in a jelly sandwich! The formula was great, as mentioned with the others, and there was no staining.

Overall, I’m really pleased with my PURE selections! The colors, while not overly unique, have a great formula and an even greater cause behind them. The polish names have positive attributes and each description is a little bit of motivation. PURE polishes can be purchased here for $5 (cremes/jellies) to $7 (glitters). Hey dolls! Today I have photos for you from the Mentality 420 Holos collection. The 420 Holos are described as a set of dark, smokey colors accented with lush green accents and psychedelic holographic effect. The names symbolize the facets of the transition now being seen in the marijuana legalization movement. The formula for each polish is the same as what I’ve come to expect from Mentality; thick, but easy to manage, and very pigmented. I’m really impressed with the flat brush on these polishes, as it is the perfect width for my nail beds. All of the polishes dried to a satin finish, so top coat was used in the photos below.

Educate is described as a dark burnt red holographic nail polish with green accent flecks. This color has so much depth! Two coats were used for opacity.

Regulate is described as a dark midnight blue holographic nail polish with green accent flecks. The base blue is very pretty and the holo particles give it more umph. Two coats were used for opacity.

Medicate is described as a deep green holographic nail polish with green accent flecks. When I saw Medicate and Regulate side by side in the bottles, I thought they were the same colors. On the nail you can see the subtle differences in the base color. Medicate’s formula was a little thinner than the others, but still manageable. Three coats were used for opacity.

Legislate is described as a deep honey brown holographic nail polish with green accent flecks. I have a soft spot for brown and gold polishes, so I like this one a lot. The holographic effect is not as strong as seen in the other polishes in this collection. Two coats were used for opacity.

Overall, this is a great collection for dark, vampy holo lovers. The formula on Mentality polishes does not disappoint, so you should definitely give them a try. I’ve gotten really good wear with them and they also stamp very well. The 420 Holos collection can be purchased here for $7 each (shipping included) or $20 for the entire set. Hey dolls! The theme for this week’s Twinsie Tuesday’s mani was to wear our oldest untried. This proved to be a much harder task then I first thought. I keep my polishes organized in melmers with stickers on the tops of the untrieds, so it wasn’t difficult to locate the ones I haven’t worn. The challenging part was trying to remember how long I had each one.

I ended up choosing Zoya Ivanka, which I’m pretty sure I’ve had for about three years. Ivanka, a green metallic base filled with gold shimmer, was a part of the summer 2010 Sparkle collection. The formula, while easy to use, was quite sheer. Four coats were used in the photos below.

Ivanka is a gorgeous green, but I dislike how sheer it is. I need to check to see if I have something similar that is more opaque. I’m very surprised that I kept this for so long without trying it though. How old is your oldest untried???

Hey dolls! I hope that all of you had a wonderful mother’s day and you celebrated with loved ones. The winner of this week’s poll was Dandy Nails Cashmere Night with 47% of the votes. Cashmere Night is a matte purple with blue and pink shimmer. The formula was very opaque and easy to use. Two coats were used below.

In my opinion, Cashmere Night fell a little flat matte, so I added top coat.

I definitely prefer the look of Cashmere Night glossy. The depth of the shimmer was much more apparent after top coat was added.
