Hey dolls! Remember last month when I became one of Rescue Beauty Lounge‘s core bloggers? Of course you remember; I posted about it nonstop! One of the first tasks was to choose ten polishes to review and I have photos of half of them for you today. Brace yourself for all of the shimmery gorgeousness!
RBL Liberty was one of my most wanted polishes ever. Liberty is a dusty mint green filled with blue shimmer. I can’t even stand how pretty this polish is! My RBL swatch fest started with Liberty, then ended immediately because I had to do a full mani with this shade. The formula was a little thick, but still easy to manage. Two coats were used for opacity.
RBL Insouciant is gray with strong purple undertones and blue shimmer. This polish is another stunner! The creamy formula applied flawlessly and was opaque in two coats. I must also note that Insouciant dried very quickly without top coat. About ten minutes after applying the polish and taking pictures, I folded a load of laundry and none of the nails were smudged.
RBL Pause is a bright violet filled with shimmer. The shimmer provides so much depth but is a little hard to describe; it appears to be blue and pink. The formula applied easily and was opaque in two coats.
RBL NailsandNoms is a bright orange filled with pink and periwinkle shimmer. You all know how much I love orange polishes, so the shimmer was just an added bonus. The formula was on the sheer side, but not runny. Four coats were used for opacity.
RBL Faraway is a light blue with turquoise shimmer. I just knew I had something similar to this polish in my stash, but I don’t! The formula applied easily and was opaque in two coats. I wore Faraway for a few days and so many people loved it!
Have you had enough shimmer yet? RBL has really perfected adding the perfect amount of visible shimmer to cream bases. I’m so glad to add each of the polishes above into my collection. Some of them are no longer in stock as the website was cleaned out during the holiday sale a few weeks ago! I’m looking forward to showing you the other RBLs and to see what this brand has in store for the new year. RBLs can be purchased here for $18-$20 each. Be sure to keep up with them on facebook, twitter, and instagram!
