Bondi Lady Liberty

Hey dolls! Today I have photos for you of a new brand that has recently launched called Bondi New York. Their first collection has launched with 20 shades that are 5-free (no formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, DBP and toluene). The collection is filled with a majority of cremes with a few shimmers and metallics sprinkled in. I chose to review Lady Liberty, a dusty turquoise creme, and I was extremely impressed with the packaging when it arrived. A personalized thank you card was enclosed as well!

Lady Liberty’s formula was very easy to work with. It was thick, but not so much as to where it was problematic. Lady Liberty self-leveled well and dries to a high gloss finish. The formula was also very pigmented as it was almost a one coater. I used two coats for photo purposes below.

I think I may have found my replacement for Essie Turquoise and Caicos in Lady Liberty! I am in love with this shade; it’s dusty, yet still bright.  As one of those nail fanatics who appreciates a great creme polish, I am now interested in checking out more of what Bondi has to offer. I am so drawn to turquoises in all areas of life right now. I just bought a blazer in this exact shade (see the inspiration board below).

Bondi will launch 20 polishes twice a year, as well as four limited edition collections. 100% of the net profit (after costs) is donated to their non-profit which makes grants to organizations such as the Food Bank for New York City. Bondi polishes are available for purchase here for $15. The price is a little steep, but I’m hoping they will offer some great promos to get more nail polish lovers interested in their brand.

***Update! Bondi is offering a BOGO deal through tomorrow! So buy one, get one; buy two, get two; etc. Use the code GETONE. This would be the perfect time to purchase!***
