Hey dolls! The theme for this week’s Twinsie Tuesday was to show a winter to spring transition polish. Last week, Ulta had a buy two Butter London polishes for $15 deal. This purchase officially ended my polish no buy, which really ended in February, but I hadn’t bought anything until this promo. Butter London Giddy Kipper, one of my picks, is perfect for today’s theme. Giddy Kipper is described as an indigo shimmer. The formula was absolutely amazing and it applied effortlessly in two coats. I chose Giddy Kipper for this theme because it’s just bright enough to not fall into the same category as darker winter shades, but it’s saturated enough not to be in the pastel family either.
I was a little concerned that the shimmer wouldn’t be visible on the nail, but it shows nicely. Blues in this range are so flattering on every complexion. I have a lot of blue polishes, but Giddy Kipper is definitely unique in my stash. Be sure to check out the polishes chosen by the other Twinsies this week using the links below.
