Twinsie Tuesday ~ Space Inspired ~ Hare Polish Asteroid Turf

Hey dolls! Today’s theme for Twinsie Tuesday was to be inspired by space. I recently did my first galaxy manicure here and I wasn’t quite ready to do another yet. I searched through my stash for an untried with a name space inspired and came across Hare Polish Asteroid Turf. Asteroid Turf has been on my “I need to wear this soon” list for the longest, but it just hasn’t happened for one reason or another. It is a bright grass green jelly filled magenta hex glitter. The formula was less than pleasing. It was very thin on the first coat, but immediately became goopy on the second. Most of the glitter had sunk to the bottom of the bottle, so I ended up doing four coats. You can see below how goopy Asteroid Turf is at the tips.

Wouldn’t it be super cool if the sky was green and we could see little magenta asteroids shooting through?!? Ok, that would probably be a little weird. While I’m glad I finally wore this polish, Asteroid Turf is headed to the blog sale/swap pile. I’m pretty sure I can recreate this look using a green jelly with a better formula and a pink glitter.
