Hey dolls! I’ve missed two weeks of Twinsie Tuesday themes and I’m glad to be back today. The theme for today is mish mosh, where we were supposed to use a different technique on each nail. I wanted to keep each nail relatively simple, so I started with two Mentality mattes. Ruffian is a bright blue matte filled with silver shimmer and Mischief is a dark gray matte with silver shimmer as well. The formula on both polishes was excellent; they flowed easily and were both opaque in two coats.
I’ve never tried the ruffian technique, so I decided to do that on my index finger (besides that’s the name of one of the polishes). I decided to keep the busiest nail art on my middle and ring fingers. A mish mosh mani wouldn’t be complete without including striping tape. Polka dots were my first love and I feel like I don’t do enough of them as of late so those were included as well. On my pinkie, I sponged Mischief on top of Ruffian. Next, I added top coat to smooth out the look, and then a coat of Butter LONDON Matte Finish Top Coat.
Hope you all like my mish mosh Mentality matte mani (how about that alliteration) as much as I do! Gray and blue is a classic color combo that you just can’t go wrong with. Mentality’s mattes are really impressive and they have a huge variety of shades. If interested, you can check them out here for $6.50 each (free US shipping). Be sure to check out the looks from the other twinsies down below!
