**This is a re-post from 1.13.15 due to my site crashing.**
Hey dolls! I was super excited when I saw this week’s theme for Twinsie Tuesday. I have a thing for shoes, so it was a little difficult for me to choose just one pair for this mani. Based on the time I had to complete my look, I went with the Steve Madden blinged out peep toe platforms shown above (similar pair). These were my New Years Eve shoes from several years ago and I still love them.
To create my look, I started with a base of Zoya Storm, a black scattered holographic. On the accent nail, I used Zoya Raven, a black creme with subtle shimmer. I went through my stash of studs and decided to go with two different sizes. The larger iridescent studs are from Serum No. 5 and the smaller clear studs are from BornPretty. The studs were applied with base coat and then sealed with top coat.
This is such a busy look, but I love it! It certainly works in my book as an accent nail. I haven’t been this excited about a Twinsie Tuesday mani in a few months. Of course I had to get my in-house photographer to take a shot that includes both my nails and the shoes.
I’ll be wearing this mani until the studs fall off, literally. Be sure to take a look at how the other Twinsies were inspired by their shoes using the links below.
