Hey dolls! I had no clue at all what I wanted to do for today’s theme. Yesterday I did a quick youtube search and came across Missjenabulous‘ channel. She has a really cool nail art for beginners series and I decided to recreate one of them which was an interlocking polka dot tutorial. About a month ago, I got two POP Beauty polishes during a Sindulge sale for only the shipping price of $2.95. I thought the polishes would compliment each other well, so I wanted to use them for this look. I started with a base of POP Beauty Radioactive, a bright neon green filled with blue shimmer. The formula was great for a neon and wasn’t streaky at all. Two coats were used for opacity.
Radioactive is insanely bright and I love it! Following the tutorial, I used POP Beauty Denim Metal as the other shade for the interlocking dots. Denim Metal is a super pigmented dark blue filled with silver shimmer. Here’s how it turned out:
I really love these colors together, but I’m on the fence about the nail art. At times I think it looks cool; at other times a little weird. Maybe it will grow on me before I remove it. Be sure to check out how the other Twinsies were inspired by youtube down below!
