Hey dolls! The theme for today’s Twinsie Tuesday was to do a “grunge” mani. I decided to go with the Chalkboard Nails grunge tutorial for this look. I started with a base of Cult Nails Party Time, a bright blue creme. For the double accent nail, I applied one coat of Cult Nails Tempest, a white creme. The shades chosen for the grunge effect were Cult Nails Devious Nature (pink creme), Riot (turquoise creme), Party Time, and Fetish (black matte creme). I applied the lighter colors first and ended with black as done in the tutorial. Here’s the final look:

I really like the way this turned out. The colors go together nicely and the black is a great contrast. Initially I thought I would pull out my black crackle for this look, but the tutorial was easy enough as is. The final look is edgy, abstract, and pretty cool.
