Hey dolls! I got super excited when I saw the theme for this week’s Twinsie Tuesday. I didn’t have to think twice about my favorite sports team, which is the FSU Seminoles. While I love Duke basketball and Cowboys football, my heart is Nole Blooded! We are the reigning college National Football Champs and one of the most hated teams when it comes to college football. That matters none to me because we are still UNDEFEATED this season, ranked #1 in the polls, and have won 26 games straight! You know a person is serious about their team when the word “we” is used when talking about it. I spent over seven years in Tallahassee getting my master’s and doctoral degrees and working, so that place is our second home. Fellow Twinsie, Tiffany from Polished to Precision, also is a FSU graduate!
Florida State’s colors are garnet and gold and my plan was to do a glitter bomb mani, since I haven’t done so in awhile. The glitter I chose, Sinful Colors Pumpkin Spice, didn’t want to work with me though. The base on Pumpkin Spice was thick and the glitter was not as dense as I hoped. I ended up layering two coats of Pumpkin Spice over one of my new favorite nudes, Zoya Chanelle.
I really like this combo! Many thanks to Tiffany from Tiffany’s Tasteful Talons for Pumpkin Spice. I’m pretty sure I won it in a giveaway of hers. This glitter represents both my Noles and the fall season perfectly. I’m one of those people who go crazy over everything pumpkin spice as soon as fall comes around. Coffee, pancakes, muffins, pumpkin spice in everything (except pie…I’m partial to sweet potato).
It was so cold and windy this morning, I just had to create an inspiration board focused on scarves. I know 20 degrees isn’t bad to a lot of you, but for this former Florida girl, that is freezing!
