**This is a re-post from 1.17.15 due to my site crashing.**
Hey dolls! Serum No. 5 has released two new shades today. The first is January 2015, the inaugural shade in the limited edition monthly releases from Serum No. 5. Each month, one batch of a new shade will be released internationally. January 2015 is described as a pale buttercream yellow crelly with shades of orange, gold, blue, and white glitters. The formula was a little streaky on the first coat, but that’s typical for pale yellows. It evened out nicely in three coats and I recommend waiting in between coats to keep the larger glitters from dragging. Top coat was used in the photos below as January 2015 dried to a gritty finish. It glows bright green.
The other new release for today is Serum No. 5 New Ewe. With a play on the phrase, new year, new you, New Ewe is an ode to 2015 being the year of the sheep. New Ewe is described as a pink-toned red jelly packed with golden flakes. The formula was great and applied easily. I had a little bit of visible nail line at two coats, so three were used for good measure. New Ewe dried to a textured finish, so top coat was used in the photos below. It has a rainbow-like glow.
Both of these shades are now available here for $13 each. I’m really interested to see what Serum No. 5 comes up with the limited edition monthly shades. Who knew I would start to like glow in the dark shades so much?! Be sure to keep up with Serum No. 5 for updates on new releases on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
