Hey dolls! I hope your Monday is off to a great start. Today I have photos for you of the first part of the Serum No. 5 FW14 collection. This half of the collection features two glow in the dark shades, two holos, and three additional glitters.
Serum No. 5 A Class Act is a pink scattered holographic shade. The formula was great and applied effortlessly in two coats. I’m a pink lover, so of course I like this shade.
Serum No. 5 First Colors is a white crelly base filled with red, blue, and yellow glitters in various sizes. On the first coat, the formula was streaky and the glitters needed to moved around on the nail. First Colors evened out perfectly with the second coat. Top coat was used to smooth out the glitters.
Serum No. 5 Fractured Rainbows is a glow in the dark top coat that is filled with gold and iridescent flakies and shimmer. The flakies were very dense and laid flat on the nail without any manipulation. Fractured Rainbows applied easily in one coat over Zoya Geneviev. It charged quickly, but the glow faded relatively quickly as well.
Serum No. 5 Leaves You Breathless is a topper filled with red, green, gold, and copper glitter. This polish just screams fall! The glitter was very dense and applied easily in one coat over Zoya Claire. Top coat was used to smooth out the glitter.
Serum No. 5 Sleepy Holo is a charcoal gray holographic shade. I’m pretty sure I don’t have any holos in the shade, so I really like it. The formula was great and applied easily in two coats.
Serum No. 5 Tassle’s Worth the Hassle is a glow in the dark black jelly that is filled gold and blue glitter. I just love this combination of glitters. As with First Colors, it was streaky on the first coat and the glitters needed to be spread around the nail. The second coat applied evenly and top coat was used to smooth out the glitter. Tassle’s Worth the Hassle charged extremely quickly and the green glow lasted for a long time.
Serum No. 5 Work Hard Play Hard is a brown base filled with blue, gold, and holographic glitters in various shapes and sizes. This one is a little too chunky for my tastes, but the glitter combo is really pretty. The glitter was very dense and it applied easily in two coats. Top coat was used to smooth out the glitter.
This is a really varied collection from Serum No. 5 and I’m sure a few of the shades will appeal to everyone’s tastes.
