Hey dolls! I have some awesome news! Refined and Polished has gotten a makeover and I am finally using my own domain name. I’ve owned www.refinedandpolished.com for over a year, but I was still hosting the blog through Blogger. Please change your bookmarks if necessary. For RSS feed readers, please let me know if you still get new posts as they are published.  There are still a few more things I’d like to add (i.e., GFC widget), but I was extremely ready to launch the new site. Take a chance to look around the new site and share your feedback. I’d be glad to hear it!  In other news, I’m now on Twitter and you can follow me at refinedpolished. I’ve had the name for some time, but I didn’t use it at all. I know a lot of people are no longer seeing facebook posts because of the “pay to promote your posts” kick they are on, so I wanted to give another option to make sure you all see new posts. Now for today’s polish!

The winner for this week was Butter LONDON Trout Pout with 41% of the vote. Trout Pout is a gorgeous pink-leaning coral creme that was released earlier this year in the Spring/Summer 2012 collection. The formula was very pigmented, but still needed two coats to completely even out.

Trout Pout is just so pretty! It’s almost refreshing since I’ve been wearing so many dark shades lately (other than pink for BCA). I planned to add some glitter or nail art to this look, but then decided to enjoy this creme in all of its simplicity.
