Hey dolls! Today I have photos of the soon to be released fall collection from Pretty & Polished. The Fall in Love collection consists of ten polishes in jelly, creme, and glitter finishes. All of the polishes have cute, quirky names to represent love. As this collection was inspired by fall romance, it will be released on September 5, which is also Chels’ (P&P creator) wedding anniversary.
H-equinox My Socks Off is a stunning taupe base that is filled with blue and gold glitters. This color combination is so unique, making it one of my favorites in the collection. The formula was great and the base built up nicely. Three coats were used for opacity.
When Hearts Kaleidoscope is a cranberry jelly base filled with various sized copper and magenta glitter. I love this polish and I’m actually wearing it right now. When Hearts Kaleidoscope is jam packed with glitter. The formula was easy to manage, but I did have to move some glitters around on the nail. Two coats were used for opacity.
Over the Harvest Moon For You is a blue base that is filled with blue shimmer, silver moons, circles, and hex glitter. The formula was good and the larger glitters dispersed easily. Two coats of Over the Harvest Moon For You was used over Pretty & Polished Luna.
For Sweater or Worse is a grape creme. The formula was a little thin, so be very careful to avoid cuticle pooling. For Sweater or Worse was very pigmented though. Two coats were used for opacity.
You Make Me Feel Gourdgeous is a very densely packed purple, fuchsia, and blue glitter bomb in a dark purple base. The formula was a little thick since it was so much glitter. One coat of You Make Me Feel Gourdgeous was used over For Sweater or Worse. This glitter was so difficult to photograph, but the pictures are pretty close to what it looks like in real life.
Love is Autumn-atic! is the second glitter bomb in this collection. It is filled with gold, orange, and copper glitter. Love is Autumn-atic! looks like someone just crushed a bunch of leaves and sprinkled them all over your nails. The formula was the same as You Make Me Feel Gourdgeous; densely packed with glitter and thick. One coat was used over Cult Nails Nevermore.
Leaf Me Breathless (such a cute name) is a light yellow base filled with yellow, orange, green, and black various sized glitters. There were no issues with the formula. One coat was used over China Glaze Midtown Magic and then a second was dabbed on to add more glitter in certain places.
Rake a Little Piece of My Heart is a white based crelly filled with orange, red, and gold various sized glitters. The formula was easy to use and built up nicely. Three coats were used for opacity. Rake a Little Piece of My Heart did dry to a textured finish, so top coat was used in the photo below.
Forever My Pumpking (how cute is the name) is an orange jelly that has subtle gold glass flecks. The formula was a little thick, so I would recommend waiting in between coats to avoid dragging. Forever My Pumpking dries to a matte finish, which I love. Three coats were used below.
How’s About a Roll in the Hay is filled with yellow and white bar, hex, and circle glitter. A lot of glitter came out with each coat, but I did need to use the dabbing method to place it on the nail. How’s About a Roll in the Hay is shown over Forever My Pumpking.
I’m pretty sure this is the largest collection I’ve ever posted! Pat yourself on the back if you made it to this point. 🙂 This collection has a little bit of something for everyone’s tastes.
