Hey dolls! Today I have another massive collection for you. Mentality has been churning out the collections and today I’m showing you some of their mattes. All of the polishes had a similar great formula; they were thick but easy to manage and almost opaque in one coat. Each polish was very pigmented and two coats were used for the photos below. Please excuse the lighting changes across the photos. I am still trying to figure out my lighting setup in our new place. I also recently had a bad break on my middle finger, so you’ll see my shorties in a few of the photos.
Rascal is a black matte. This looks just like a chalkboard. I only wish I would’ve wrapped my tips.
Bandit is a dark green matte with silver shimmer. This one is pretty unique in my stash!
Brute is a bright royal blue. I just can’t seem to get enough of blues in this family.
Ruffian is a tad bit lighter than Brute and has more silver shimmer. You may remember this shade from my mish mosh mani from a couple of weeks ago.
Mischief is a dark gray matte filled with silver shimmer. This was the other color is the mish mosh mani. I just loved Mischief and Ruffian together!
Sparkplug is a copper matte filled with silver and gold shimmer. This is another unique shade and I adore it!
Desperado is an olive-toned brown matte filled with gold shimmer. The formula was slightly thicker than the rest of the collection.
Bohemian is a light blue matte that’s filled with silver shimmer. It’s the lightest blue of the three shown today.
Rowdy is a light purple matte with subtle shimmer. This color was the least vibrant of all the shades in the collection and the formula was slightly thinner than the others.
Vicious is a soft red matte filled with subtle shimmer. This one has lots of pink undertones.
Overall, this is a perfect collection if you are a fan of mattes. Mentality has come up with a varied collection of matte shades that are different from the norm.
