Hey dolls! Halfway through the work week! Today I have photos for you of Mentality The Jelly Collection. This set features nine jellies with shimmer. The formula was the same on each polish; they applied nicely, had good formulas, built up nicely, and were opaque in three coats.
Mentality Cara is a yellow jelly packed with shimmer. I really love this shade on my complexion.
Mentality Jennifer is a red-leaning pink jelly filled with pink shimmer. It almost looks as if the shimmer is glowing in this polish, which makes it even prettier.
Mentality Jill is a pink-leaning coral jelly filled with pink shimmer. This one has a very soft look. You can tell from the photos that Jill was a little more sheer than the others in the collection.
Mentality Kacy is a purple jelly with blue undertones. The blue shimmer in this polish is so pretty!
Mentality Mona is a light green jelly with blue, gold, and silver shimmer. This one has more of a frosty appearance than the rest of the collection. Mona was also on the sheer side.
Mentality Nina is a turquoise jelly with shimmer. This polish just makes me want to be somewhere tropical. *sighs*
Mentality Rachel is a bright blue jelly with shimmer. Blue lovers will appreciate this one.
Mentality Shalon is a bright burnt orange jelly filled with gold shimmer. Hands down, this is my favorite from the collection!
Mentality Tyler is a purple jelly with red undertones. Please pardon the lack of focus with these photos. I didn’t notice until I was editing the photos yesterday.
Overall this is a good collection for those of you who like jelly finishes. We don’t often see jellies filled with shimmer. I did try to use Cara for a jelly sandwich, but I didn’t really care for the look due to the heaviness of the shimmer. I much prefer these worn alone.
