Hey dolls! Today I have photos for you of two polishes in a recently launched brand called Lisa Nail Lacquer. The polishes are all vegan, 4-free/non-toxic, and cruelty-free. Here are photos of the first two collections that are currently available.
Perfect Pastels Collection: Summer Fling, Sweet Papaya, Island Breeze, Rise and Shine, Perfect Pink, and Denim Cutoffs
Summer Love Collection: Beach Bonfire, Pink Flip Flops, Jamaican Sun, Piña Colada, Sexy on the Beach, and Pistachio Ice Cream
Lisa Nail Lacquer Rise and Shine is a pastel yellow with subtle silver shimmer. The formula was good for a yellow polish. It went on a tad bit streaky on the first coat, but evened out nicely and was opaque on the second. Rise and Shine also self-leveled well.
Lisa Nail Lacquer Beach Bonfire is a bright orange jelly with strong red undertones. The formula was great and it built up nicely without dragging. As this polish does have a jelly finish, three coats were used for opacity.
I also decided to do a little nail art featuring these two shades. The look started with a base of Rise and Shine. I then used the saran wrap technique to apply Beach Bonfire on top. Striping tape was used for the accent nail.
I like both of these shades from Lisa Nail Lacquer. Looking at the press photos, the shades don’t seem to be extremely unique, but I do like to see indie brands who produce cremes with great formulas. These polishes are $7 each and are available here. If you’d like to see more from this brand, be sure to check out their social media pages: Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest.
