Zoya Fall PixieDusts

Hey dolls! It feels great to be back. First, I’d like to thank all of the wonderful ladies who provided guest posts over the last two weeks! They are all fantastic and I hope you found a few new blogs to follow. It took a little time to get back into the groove of blogging, but I think I finally found my mojo with the Zoya Fall PixieDust collection. I can honestly say I love the entire collection! These were the only polishes I wore during the moving process (partly because all of the other polishes were already wrapped and packed up). Several are one coaters and they held up well, even with all of my packing and unpacking. The formula was easy to use on each polish and minimal clean up was required.

Tomoko is described as a champagne silver with a matte, textured, sparkling metal finish. I was fully prepared to not be impressed with Tomoko. Silver polishes are not typically my thing, but Tomoko looks like I went and crushed some diamonds then sprinkled them on my nails. Tomoko is bling for the nails! The formula was a little thinner than the rest of this collection, but it was opaque in two coats.

Arabella is described as a rich fuchsia pink in a matte, textured, sparkling finish. I always love pinks in this family. I only wish I would’ve let this one dry a little more before taking photos so all of the sparkles could shine through. Two coats were used for opacity.

Sunshine is described as a “Van Gogh” navy blue in a matte, textured, sparkling finish. This polish is like your favorite pair of dark wash denim jeans. It is my absolute favorite from the collection! The formula is absolutely flawless and opaque in one coat. Please excuse the difference in lighting compared to the other photos. I actually took these in the fridge after a helpful tip from Chelsea of Nailed Blog. My lamp was already packed up and there was no sun out, so I utilized the fridge. I probably won’t do this often, but it helps when you’re in a pinch and you need to take a quick photo.

Dhara is described as a firey orange copper with a matte, textured, sparkling metal finish. I can’t help but love oranges on my complexion. Dhara is a bit darker than the summer PixieDusts Destiny and Beatrix. The formula was great and was opaque in two coats.

Carter is described as a royal purple in a matte, textured, sparkling metal finish. I wore Carter for almost an entire week; it is just that awesome! I really like that this shade has some black particles like Chyna, one of the original PixieDusts. Two coats were used for opacity.

Chita is described as a forest green in a matte, textured, sparkling finish. This is one gorgeous green! It is a perfect shade for the fall. Chita was opaque in one coat, which makes me love it even more.

The PixieDusts are perfect for nail art, so I decided to a striping tape look using Chita and Arabella. These two shades are perfect for one another!

Zoya has a winner with this collection! The shades are all very saturated and well-pigmented and I love them. If you are wanting to try the textured trend, I think the PixieDusts are a great place to start. The addition of the sparkle makes them look great both textured and with top coat. The PixieDusts can be purchased for $9 each on Zoya’s website.
