Hey dolls! The week in reviews continues on with the Zoya Cashmeres collection. It consist of 6 fall ready creams. If you’ve been missing dark shades, this collection will definitely fill the void.
Sailor is described as a classic dark navy. I love this shade. While Sailor is dark, there’s no mistaking that it is a blue polish. The formula was a little thin and runny, but only two coats were needed for opacity.
Flynn is described as a lush camel brown nude. I now have a warm weather (Zoya Gretchen) and cold weather nude polish! I really love the way Flynn looks on me. The formula applied easily and was opaque in two coats.
Hunter is described as a dark sea green. While this shade is very simple, I’m not sure if I have anything like it. The formula was great on Hunter as well and it was opaque in two coats.
Louise is described as a rich chocolate brown. This literally looks like I melted milk chocolate all over my nails. The formula was amazing and two coats were used.
Livingston is described as a lush autumn red. If you are a red fan, I’m sure you will like this one. The formula was not problematic and two coats were used.
Pepper is described as a brick red creme. If I have to wear red, I’d prefer it to be a little more like this. Pepper is a great balance between red and brown. The formula was a little runny, hard to control, and super hard to clean up! Two coats were used.
Overall, the Cashmeres collection is a great set of fall basics. While not overly unique, you will appreciate these if you love the Zoya formula. They also make great bases for glitters if you prefer to add a little sparkle. My favorites are Flynn, Sailor, and Hunter. Zoya is currently having a BOGO free sale using the code SCHOOL through 8/25/13 at 11:59p est. The fall collection can be purchased here for $8 each.
