Twinsie Tuesday ~ What’s Your Sign? ~ Pretty & Polished Libra Scales

Hey there beautiful! I’m a libra. I enjoy movie nights, eating fro-yo, and cuddling at home. Thinking about astrological signs always reminds me of the corny love (or hype) songs that run them down (special props if you start singing the one from Beyonce, Tyrese, or Uncle Luke). The Twinsie Tuesday theme for this week was to be inspired by our sign. My birthday is coming up in a few days on October 7, which makes me a libra. My personality goes along very well with the typical Libra characteristics; I can’t make a decision, I love balance in my life (big yogi), and I can’t stand conflict. When I think about my sign, scales come to mind, but I had no clue how to interpret that on my nails. Then I remembered that I had a bottle of Pretty & Polished Libra Scales. Last year, Chels released a polish for each sign and I had to pick mine up once I saw how pretty it was. Libra Scales is a blue jelly filled with shimmer and silver squares, shards, and microglitter. The formula was great and built up nicely. Three coats were used below. There is some VNL in the photos, but it was not apparent in real life.

I don’t have many glitters in a dark blue base, so I really like Libra Scales. This polish worked perfectly for today’s theme and saved me from having to do any nail art…WIN! Does your sign represent your personality well? Be sure to check out how the other Twinsies represented their signs below.
