Twinsie Tuesday ~ One Stroke Flowers

Press Sample

Hey dolls! I hope you all are doing well. The theme for today’s Twinsie Tuesday was one stroke flowers and I must admit, I hit this one out of the park. I’m going to stop talking and just show you the photo!

Doesn’t this look amazing?!? Well, I guess I should tell the truth. These one stroke flowers look amazing because…they are water decals from BornPretty store. I’m sure those of you who have been following me for some time know good and well I could not freehand a look like this, nor would I have the want or desire. I watched a few tutorials on one stroke flowers and immediately knew it wasn’t something I was willing to attempt. All of the tutorials used acrylic paints and the ones I do have are reserved for crafts much larger than the size of a fingernail.

This manicure started with a base of Scofflaw Love Goat (review coming soon). After the base was dry, I applied the BornPretty floral water decals (Item# – G080) using the directions on the packaging. I really love these decals because they are super easy to use. You trim the designs you’d like to use, soak them in water for about 20 seconds, remove them from the paper backing, apply them to the nail gently, and then add top coat.

These water decals are a great option for those of you, who like me, aren’t interested in freehanding or don’t have the skills. They are available for $2.86 per sheet. Feel free to use my code TPJ61 for a 10% discount off of your next BornPretty order. Be sure to check out the one stroke looks from the other Twinsies. I’m guessing they probably didn’t cheat the way that I did. 😉
