Shimmer Part 3

Hey dolls! Today I have the last installment of my Shimmer Polish review. I hope you all have been enjoying these glitterbombs as much as I have. As with the others shown previously (1 & 2), the glitter is very dense and only one coat is needed if you are applying it over a base color.

Alice is full of various sized silver glitter and silver stars. Only one star came out without fishing, but you all already know that I’m not a big fan of shaped glitter so I didn’t try to go for more. There are plenty of people who do love shaped glitter, so I’m sure this one is a hit. This is one coat of Alice over Essence Snow Jam Lilac is My Style

Jennifer is filled with pastel glitter. The colors that jump out at me are blue, purple and orange with a few specks of black glitter. I think this glitter is super fun and festive, but I’m not crazy over the base I paired it with. All of the colors would pop more with a darker base. This is one coat of Jennifer over Dior Plaza.

Tammy is filled with gold and purple glitters in various sizes and small bar glitter. This one surprised me in a good way because I was prepared not to like it from the bottle. I don’t mind the bar glitter at all and who doesn’t like purple and gold together?!? This is one coat of Tammy over ManGlaze Santorum.

Jasmine is filled with turquoise and green glitter with a few speckles of gold and orange glitter. This is another one that would look great over many different base colors. This is one coat of Jasmine over Cult Nails Let’s Get Dirty.

Trisha is filled with dark orange and gold glitter. I also see a little blue and purple sparkle. Trisha was another surprise for me. I wore it over Maybelline Purple Trend and it’s amazing how well the glitter pops over this dark base!

Once again, I’m very impressed with Shimmer Polish. I love the way she takes such unique color combinations and then makes it even more unique by adding in a few speckles of a different color. They have so much depth and are perfect for blinging out any manicure. Shimmer Polishes can be purchased through PAYPAL by sending an email with your paypal email/account and the colors you would like or through Etsy for $12 each. A list of the colors available can be seen here. Be sure to keep up with Shimmer on facebook to see more photos of her polishes.
