Hey dolls! Today I have photos for you of a few more pretties from Serum No. 5, including one glitter and two top coats.
Serum No. 5 As A Matte’a Fact is a shimmery blue and iridiscent top coat that dries to a suede finish. How cute is the name of this polish?!? The formula was great and applied evenly in one coat. I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to pair As A Matte’a Fact with at first, but I ended up settling on NYCO Saturn Sunset. I’ve never seen a brown polish with blue shimmer and think this combo looks amazing together!
Serum No. 5 Fame is a silver shimmery top coat that includes holo particles. The formula was great and dispersed evenly in one coat. I like this top coat because the holo is on the subtle side. Fame is shown below over NYCO Teal Garden.
Serum No. 5 Second Spring is a shimmery ivory base filled with various sized coral, green, purple, yellow, and blue glitters. This polish is jam packed with glitter. I had a few patches at two coats, so three were used for opacity. In the future, I’d layer Second Spring over a similar base so the glitter doesn’t appear as chunky.
Once again, I’m really pleased with the polishes from Serum No. 5. The top coats are extremely versatile and would pair nicely with any creme polish. Second Spring would appeal to any white-based glitter lover. These polishes range from $7 (mL) to $12 (16.7mL) and are available for purchase here. Be sure to keep up with Serum No. 5 on Facebook to learn more about her polishes as well as her Love, Preview charity event that I discussed last week.
