Hey dolls! Today I have photos of the other half of the Serum No. 5 Holiday13 Collection (see part 1 here). I just love that Serum No. 5 uses so many different finishes in her collections. All of these are perfect for the holidays, but they can also be worn year round.
Serum No. 5 Snow In Love is a white crelly filled with various sized blue glitter. I love how soft the blue glitter looks in the white base. The formula was easy to use and built up nicely in three coats. Snow In Love does dry to a slightly gritty finish, so top coat is recommended to smooth it out.
Serum No. 5 Girl’s BFF is a blingy top coat filled with various sized silver glitter and shimmer. This glitter would look great over a variety of bases for sure. The formula was great and the glitter dispersed easily in one coat. Serum No. 5 Girl’s BFF is shown over Catrice Hip Queens Wear Blue Jeans.
Serum No. 5 Luxe So Good is a silver holographic polish. I can only imagine what this one looks like in the sunlight because the holo was very strong indoors and in my light box. The formula was great and crazy pigmented! Luxe So Good was almost a one coater, but I did two for photo purposes.
Serum No. 5 Final Countdown is a black base filled with silver, red, green, and gold glitter. The base appeared to be very sheer on the first coat, but built up to opacity by three coats. Final Countdown does dry to a textured finish, so top coat is recommended to smooth it out.
I’m really liking the Holiday13 Collection! The variety of finishes and non-traditional shades are sure to appeal to most. This collection is currently available here for $12 each. Serum No. 5 is discontinuing their mini bottles (which is a shame because I love the 9mL minis), so they are all on sale right now for $3.50 each. These would be great gifts, so head on over!
