Reader’s Choice Monday ~ Sally Hansen Lava

Hey dolls! Today I’m wearing Sally Hansen Lava which won last week’s poll with 77% of the votes. Lava, one of the polishes from the Lustre Shine line of duochromes released last year, shifts from pink to orange. The formula was flawless and opaque in two coats. I don’t know why I waited so long to wear Lava, but it is pure awesomeness!

The color shift is extremely strong and visible in most lights. Lava is most definitely a gorgeous polish! You may have noticed that my nails are super short again. As soon as my index finger finally grew back out enough to get back into photos, I broke another nail opening a window at home. Oh well, I’m thankful for long nail beds.

    Very pretty. How is the drying time on this and SH polishes in general on you? For some reason some of the SH polishes I’ve tried dry slow on me. I want to try this line though.

      The dry time was remarkably well. I didn’t have topcoat nearby when I first put it on. I took pictures about 15 minutes later and it was completely dry to the touch without any imprints. I applied topcoat afterwards anyway because I plan to keep it on for another day or two. Usually the xtreme wear line takes a little longer to dry on me. I have a couple of the insta-dri ones as well, but I always apply top coat immediately, so I’m not sure about those.
