Hey dolls! The theme for this month’s Polish Days was “To Boldly Go”. This theme could be interpreted as anything sci-fi related. As I’ve never done a galaxy mani, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to give it a try. I started with a base of Zoya Storm, a gorgeous black filled with small holo particles. This tutorial from No Nekkid Nails was used to create the galaxy accents. I sponged on the following colors in order: Sally Hansen White On, Zoya Creamy, Zoya Flora, and Zoya Rocky. Finally a few dots were made to reflect stars.

I really like the way this turned out for my first attempt. Sure, I got a little dot happy and they could’ve been smaller, but I’m fine with it. My hubby was even super impressed when he noticed my nails last night asking if it was a galaxy. Score!!! That means it’s recognizable at least. I couldn’t bare to have a design this busy on all of my nails, but I think it makes the perfect accent. I would never wear a galaxy print dress either (see inspiration board below), but I think it’s extremely dope that something like this is available!
