Hey dolls, the theme for this past week was neon to help celebrate the first days of summer. I decided to go really, really bright with this mani. Because neons can be somewhat hard to apply, I started with a base of Sally Hansen White On. I used 3 coats of China Glaze Sun Worshipper
to even out all of the streaks. This color is a bright, neon orange…and I do mean bright…think orange hi-lighter bright. As most neons, this dried semi-matte.

I didn’t really like the way it looked by itself, so I decided to add China Glaze Broken Hearted Crackle.

This was definitely a fun look. My nails got lots of attention as I was shopping yesterday. I like the color contrast of the pink and orange! I really need to get some polish thinner though…this crackle has gotten so thick since I first used it a few weeks ago. I could only do thick coats, which is why the cracks aren’t as big as I would like. I want a couple of the new ChG metal crackles…but I really don’t use them that much. Maybe after this untrieds challenge…
BTW…I just realized I’ve surpassed 100 followers!!! Woohoo!!! My very first giveaway will be posted very soon. Thanks so much for keeping up with me and my nails. Stay tuned dolls!
