Hey dolls! I have a ton of collections from Mentality to review over the next few months, so I’m officially reserving Sunday for these posts. Today I have part 1 of the Mentality Duochrome Stampers. This collection is filled with shades that contain duochrome flashes, are very pigmented, and are great for stamping. As you all know, I don’t do a lot of stamping. Mostly because I’m not very good at it. Therefore, I’ll be showing you full swatches of these polishes but I will try to do at least one stamping mani with them. Each polish dried to a satin finish, so top coat was used in the photos below.
Eeny is described as a soft pink holographic nail polish with a golden orange flash. The formula was a little thick, but still very manageable and easy to use. Two coats were used for opacity.
Meeny is described as a bright green holographic nail polish with a gold flash. The formula was on the thick side as well. I did experience some dragging, so I would recommend waiting several minutes in between coats. Two coats were used for opacity.
Miny is described as a purple toned blue holographic nail polish with a soft red flash. The formula was great and it was completely opaque in two coats.
Moe is described as a purple holographic duocrome nail polish with a blue flash. The formula was the thinnest of this set, but not runny. I recommend waiting a few minutes in between coats to avoid dragging. Three coats were used for opacity.
Overall, I think this is a pretty cool set of polishes. They look awesome by themselves, so I’m sure they are gorgeous in stamping manis. The Mentality Duochrome Stampers are available here for $7.50 each with US shipping included. Be sure to keep up with Mentality on Facebook as they are having a promo on several of the matte sets and the Candy Jelly Holos.
