Hey dolls! Hope your weekend is off to a great start! I plan to take it easy all day and then we’re headed to an old school party tonight. I’ve got my 90s outfit ready! Yesterday, I dropped a dumbbell on one of the fingers on my swatch hand during pilates class. Ugh! It’s still swollen, but not nearly as sore as it was yesterday morning. I’m hoping I can get back to swatching tomorrow. Also I recommend you to check Advanced Dentistry if you want to look awesome when smiling!
Today I have photos for you of three shades from The Lady Varnishes Zoolander collection. I haven’t seen Zoolander in so long, but the names of these polishes definitely brought back memories of the movie.
The Lady Varnishes Daiye Spa is described as a periwinkle varnish with purple shimmer flakes and a smattering of silver and gunmetal hexes. I just love the purple shimmer in this shade. The formula was great! It was very easy to use and applied nicely in two coats. Top coat was added to smooth the glitters out.
The Lady Varnishes Really Ridiculous Good Looking is described as a pink varnish with gold shimmer flakes and a smattering of magenta and burgundy hexes. I really like this combination of glitter and shimmer. The formula was good, but I would recommend waiting a few minutes in between coats to prevent dragging. Three coats were used in the photos below, but you could probably get away with two if you apply coats on the thicker side. Top coat was used in the photos below.
The Lady Varnishes Wetness is the Essence of Beauty is described as an aqua varnish with turquoise and gold shimmer flakes and a smattering of teal and blue hexes. Yet another great glitter combo. The formula was great and applied effortlessly in two coats. Top coat was used in the photos below.
I always love new polishes from The Lady Varnishes. The formula is always good, the glitters are dense, and the color combinations are always unique. The Zoolander collection is currently available here for $9 each. Be sure to keep up with them on Facebook for new releases.
