Hey dolls! It’s my pleasure today to introduce you to a relatively new indie brand, La Bella Vernice. The owner is super kind and I’m glad to show you a few of her polishes today. First, I have to address the packaging. La Bella Vernice polishes (at least the minis) come in these super adorable shimmery purple boxes!
Cinderella is packed with pink, purple, and holo glitter. The formula was good and the glitter was very dense. One coat of Cinderella was used over Mentality Rowdy.
Jozzibug is a light blue foil that has slight scattered holo shimmer. The formula was thin, but pigmented and still very easy to use. Jozzibug dries relatively quickly to a slightly textured finish. Two coats were used for opacity.
Brooklyn is the light pink version of Jozzibug. It has the same subtle scattered holo shimmer. The formula was easy to manage and performed similarly to Jozzibug. Two coats of Brooklyn were used for opacity.
Feeling Shameless is a thermal polish that is a light blue shimmer when warm and changes to a deep purplish-blue when cold. The formula was really great. I did my nails with this shade outside and it was amazing to see the polish change colors from the bottle to my nail. The formula was thin, but not runny. I had Feeling Shameless on for several days and the wear was great. No matter how many thermal polishes I try, I always feel like a giddy kid when I notice them changing. Three coats of Feeling Shameless were used for opacity.
Overall, I’m impressed with the La Bella Vernice brand. If you like just a little subtle sparkle when it comes to holos, as I do, you will like these polishes. The cool polishes, adorable packaging, and great customer service has me interested in the other offerings from La Bella Vernice. These polishes can be purchased here for $4.50 (mini) or $10 (full). Be sure to check La Bella Vernice out on facebook to learn more about the brand.
