Hey dolls! Today I have photos of more La Bella Vernice polishes for your viewing pleasure. All of these are from different collections, so I’ll just get to the photos.
Pluto is a Planet is an icy blue textured polish from the Stardust collection. I haven’t seen any textured polishes in this shade. The formula was easy to apply, but the base color was very sheer. I used four coats on its own at first and the polish still was not completely opaque. In the pictures below, I used two coats of Pluto is a Planet over Zoya Kendal.
Rachel is a hot pink shade filled with scattered holographic particles from the Best Friends collection. The formula was great! It was very pigmented and applied easily. Rachel does dry to a slightly textured finish, so top coat is needed. Two coats were used for opacity.
Bewitched is a pink jelly filled with shimmer and glitter of various shapes and sizes from the Nightmare on Bella Street collection. The formula was on the thick side and jam packed with glitter; when a second coat was added, dragging occurred. I would recommend layering this one or waiting several minutes in between coats. One coat of Bewitched is shown over Cult Nails Devious Nature.
Ursula is a black base filled with shimmer that flashes blue and purple from the It’s a Girl’s World collection. The formula was easy to apply and was opaque in two coats. La Bella Vernice recently switched to different full sized bottles with a wider brush (see photo below). The brush fanned out nicely, allowing greater coverage of the nail bed with fewer strokes. Ursula dried to a slightly dull finish, so top coat is recommended. Unfortunately, as pretty as this polish is, I have to note that it stains badly (I did apply base coat). I ended up doing two bubble white treatments to remove the blue stains. The duochrome shimmer was a little difficult to capture, so excuse the odd lighting below.
Overall, these are all pretty shades from La Bella Vernice. It’s always good to see an indie brand with a wide variety of polish types. La Bella Vernice polishes can be purchased here for $10 (full sized) or $4.50 (mini). Be sure to keep up with them on Facebook for sneak peeks of new polishes.
