KBShimmer-Fall-2014

Hey dolls! Today I have photos for you of the KBShimmer Fall 2014 collection. This set features three cremes, two holographics, three glitter filled bases, and one glitter topper. KBShimmer Jack has also been rereleased as a limited edition Halloween polish.

KBShimmer A Raisin to Live is described as a deep burgundy, blacken ox blood colored polish full of holographic sparkles. The formula was easy to use and applied nicely in two coats. It does dry to a slightly gritty finish, so top coat was used.

KBShimmer Flannel Surfing is described as a faded blue polish that is warmed with gray undertones and includes pops of orange, aqua, and teal glitters. I had to spread the glitter around on the first coat, but Flannel Surfing evened out perfectly on the second. Top coat was used to smooth the glitters out.

KBShimmer How You Dune? is described as a “greige” polish that is a perfect blend of creamy beige and a light grey. I really like this creme! The formula was flawless, thick (in a good, pigmented way) and opaque in just one coat.

KBShimmer Hugs and Wishes is described as a blue leaning light lavender cream. I wore this shade for a few days and loved it. The formula was thinner than most of the other KBShimmer cremes I’ve tried, but not runny. Two coats were used for opacity.

KBShimmer Jack is described as a black jelly with orange hex glitters, a scattering of orange micro slices, black hexes and shreds. The formula built up nicely in three coats. It does dry slightly gritty, so top coat was used.

KBShimmer Kiss and Spell is described as a purple, orange, yellow, and neon green stars swimming among black and orange circles and hexes, and hexes in purple, neon green and yellow. Due to the larger glitters, I had to dab this polish on to get good glitter placement. The base wasn’t too thick though. Kiss and Spell is shown over KBShimmer How You Dune?

KBShimmer Stonewashed is described as a dusty navy color. I really like that it’s dark, but keeps the dusty look. The formula was very pigmented and applied easily in two coats.
