Hey dolls! KBShimmer is set to release seven new polishes for the fall on September 1, 2013 and they are all pretty amazing! Today I have photos of four of the new shades for you. It’s not a typical fall collection by any means and I’m perfectly fine with that.
Vicious Circles is described as a red jelly loaded with silver holographic circles, hex glitters, and micro slices. I am typically not a red fan, but I don’t mind this one because of the glitters. The formula was easy to use and there was great glitter payoff. Three coats were used for opacity only because there was still a little vnl. Two would have sufficed in real life.
Turbulence is a slate gray matte that is filled with silver flakes and blue and fuchsia shimmer. I adore this shade! Grays are one of my most favorite colors to wear and the shimmer really makes this one special. The satin matte finish was not streaky at all and self-leveled well. Turbulence was very pigmented, so only two coats were used for opacity.
Excuse Me, I Blurpled is a bluish-purple jelly that is filled with various sizes of purple, blue, and copper glitters. The formula was easy to use and layered well. Two coats were used for opacity.
You Go Ghoul! is the Halloween polish in this collection. It is a black jelly that is filled with purple and orange glitters and micro slices. I love that You Go Ghoul! is not such a literal representation of Halloween, so it could be worn whenever. The formula was a little thicker than the others, but still applied easily. Three coats were used for opacity.
The thing I love most about KBShimmer polishes is that they always have great glitter payoff and it’s not a must that they be layered over base colors. I also like that she has been adding in a few unique matte shades in each collection. KBShimmer is currently celebrating their 5th anniversary and they are offering free shipping on orders over $15 through 8/21/13. Be sure to keep up with KBShimmer on facebook to be in the know about deals and new collections! KBShimmer polishes can be purchased here for $8.50 each.
