Hey dolls! Today I have pictures of my first Jindie polish, which I received in a swap from my girl Ess (check out her fabulous beauty youtube channel). Jindie Nails HipStar is described as a periwinkle/purple crelly base with a mix of neon pink, lilac holographic, light pink holographic, magenta, neon purple, metallic silver hex, stars and small, medium and extra large dots. The formula was hard to work with. It’s hard to describe, but it was almost as if there was too much glitter and not enough base. I’ve looked at reviews from other bloggers and noted that some had difficulties with the shape of the mini bottle. It was definitely not easy to get the polish out. When I did get the glitter out, it came out in clumps and had to be pushed across the nail. I ended up dabbing on HipStar over Dior Lilac Colorvision because I knew it would take way too much effort to get the polish out and opaque enough on its own.

While I like the combination of colors in this glitter, it’s not for me. I know so many people who go crazy over Jindie, so I’m hoping I like the other polish included in our swap, Candy Land Remix, better.
