Guest Post ~ Steph from Imperfectly Painted

Imperfectly Painted is one of the first blogs I followed and I’m so happy that I now consider Steph a friend! Enjoy this post from her!

Hello everyone. This is Steph from Imperfectly Painted. Those of you who read my blog know, I’m not much of a nail art girl. I love nail art, but I don’t have the patience for it. I will say this year I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone. I’ve been trying some of the more simple nail art techniques and have had good results. One of these techniques I really like is saran wrap/cling wrap nails. I find this technique really easy and fun to do!

I created this look using Cult Nails colors from the Dance All Night Collection. I started with a base of Nakizzle’s Shizzle and followed up using the saran wrap technique with Love At First Sight and Faded.

This technique was really simple. I first started with my base and let that dry.  Then I tore of 10 small pieces of saran wrap, painted each nail individually with Love At First Sight, crumpled up the saran wrap, and then immediately dabbed the saran wrap over the nail. I then did the same process with Faded. There are two main things to remember with this technique. One, make sure your base is dry first. Two, paint each nail separately with the secondary color, dab the saran wrap over, and then go on the next nail. Simple! I love the look this technique creates!

Thank you Lakeisha for allowing me to guest post on your blog! I hope you have an easy and smooth move!
