Hey dolls! Today I have another Fashion Refined post for you. My hubby is trying to make me feel more comfortable taking photos in public settings with large crowds, so these were taken in downtown Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park. It still feels super awkward to have other people watching while you’re taking photos. I really don’t know how all of those big time fashion bloggers do it. There are a ton of photos in this post because I thought I’d give those of you who aren’t as familiar with the Atlanta area, a view of one of the city’s largest tourist attractions.
This look features a classic trend: black and white. It’s a universally flattering combination and is a fool proof way to look chic. Two of my friends from undergrad started an online boutique, Funkie Couture 909, late last year and I supported them by purchasing this black top (now sold out). It features lace, faux leather, and a zipper. You would think all of those elements would be too much in one top, but it goes together perfectly. I paired the top with a patterned pair of pants from NYCO. Words can’t even describe how much I love these taupe-ish gray booties! They were a steal at $50 from Nordstrom Rack. I’m already thinking of other ways to wear them.
Nothing like adding a few pops of color to a black and white outfit. Hope you all enjoyed this look!
