Hey dolls! I hope that you all had a fabulous weekend. I’m turning 30 on October 7, so hubby invited my family and friends into town for a birthday celebration. My mom was even able to make the trip, so that was awesome. I’ve been so busy with work and spending time with my family that I finally got around to doing my first breast cancer awareness mani for this month.

Nail Vinyls For a Cause is a recent effort by Nail Vinyls to support charities. Each month, $1 of the proceeds from every awareness ribbon vinyl sale will go to a specified charity. To spotlight the ribbon, I used two of my favorite Orlys. Orly Flirty is a gorgeous pink and Orly Au Champagne is a frosty white, both filled with silver shimmer. I applied the ribbon decal directly on the Au Champagne accent nail and added a few dots for a fun look.

I absolutely love the simplicity of this look. The decals are foolproof and can be used by anyone, no matter the nail art level. I encourage all of you to do your monthly breast self-exams and to see your ob/gyn yearly.
