Happy Wednesday dolls! Today I have for you my last BCA look for the month. This look was inspired by Sammy over at The Nailasaurus. I started with two coats of one of my favorite pinks, Cult Nails Devious Nature. For the accent nails, I used two coats of Orly Au Champagne, which is such a great shimmery white. After Au Champagne dried, I put a stripe of Devious Nature on the side. The BornPretty 1.5mm gold studs were applied using base coat and a small dotting tool. These studs, while small, were much easier to apply than the glequins I reviewed earlier this month. It only took about five minutes total to add the studs. One coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast was applied to keep the studs in place.
I absolutely love the way this turned out! The studs add a very sophisticated touch without being over the top. This was my first time wearing studs, so I didn’t really know how I would feel about them. I’m pleased to say that I adore the studs and now I want more in larger sizes and different shapes.
Here is a picture of the studs. They can be purchased for $5.86. You really get a large amount, so it would take forever to use them all. If you’d like to purchase these studs (or any other nail art goodies) from BornPretty, please feel free to use my code TPJ61 for 10% off of your order.
If you follow me on Facebook, you already know that this was not the look I intended for today. The initial look was supposed to be a breast cancer ribbon on one nail, along with the pink stripe on the other. It was super cute until I added top coat which bubbled like none other. My bottle of Nubar Diamont is almost empty, so I suspect that’s why it bubbled. Last night, I took the easy way out, and just decided to add another stripe. I hope you all have enjoyed my BCA awareness looks as much as I have enjoyed putting them together! This cause is so near to my heart. I am a supporter of BCA year round and I hope that you all will consider doing the same.
