Hey dolls! Today I have photos for you of the Barielle Summer Brights collection. If you have been a long time fan of Barielle, you may think some of these polishes look familiar. That would be correct because four of these polishes are re-promotes from previous collections.
Blue Capri is the only new shade (to my knowledge) in this collection. It is a gorgeous blue creme with a flawless formula! Blue Capri is super pigmented and is opaque in one coat, although I did two for photo purposes. No staining with this blue!
Lemondrops is a bright yellow creme with a decent formula from the 2009 summer collection. I own this polish already, but it was still in my untrieds. Lemondrops was streaky on the first coat, but evened out nicely for the most part on the second. I did have to do a third coat on one nail to smooth out patchiness. Lemondrops was somewhat runny, so be sure to do thin coats to avoid cuticle pooling.
Cosmic Kiss is a bright pink that was released in spring 2012 when Barielle added 90 new colors to the core collection. It has the awesome creme-jelly hybrid formula that Barielle is famous for. Two coats were used for opacity.
Sweet Addiction (previously reviewed here) is a gorgeous teal from the summer 2009 collection. I’ve already gushed about how much I love this polish.
Pink Flip-Flops (previously reviewed here) is a light pink creme from the 2012 Summer Fun collection. This is a great staple if your in the market for a light pink.
Overall this is a great collection for those that are new to Barielle and are looking for good staple cremes. Blue Capri is a stunner and is right on trend with all of the bright blues that are being released this season. If you missed any of the other four shades when they were first released, now is a perfect time to pick them up. Barielle polishes can be purchased here for $8 each (BOGO 50% off).
