Hey dolls! Today I have photos of the Barielle Nude & Naughty collection, one of their releases for the fall. I have to be honest; when I first saw this collection, I didn’t think most of these shades would be flattering on me. I was pleasantly surprised that they went with my complexion relatively well.
Very Bare is a pale off white creme-jelly (crelly) hybrid, with slight pink undertones. The formula was streaky on the first two coats (as typical with shades this light), but evened out with the third coat. Very Bare is the perfect shade for those who want a clean look, without the starkness of a bright white polish.
Pillow Talk, which you saw yesterday in my first breast cancer awareness look of the year, is a nude crelly that has peach undertones. This was my surprise favorite from the collection! The formula was almost opaque at two coats, but three were used on a few nails to cover a few patchy areas.
No Not Now is a pink-leaning toffee crelly filled with subtle shimmer. The formula was great and opacity was achieved at two coats. I didn’t realize No Not Now had shimmer until I was editing the photos.
I Got a Headache is a caramel toned shimmer. The formula, while the sheerest of this collection, was not runny at all. Three coats were used for opacity. I like the warmth of I Got a Headache.
In Good Taste is a chocolate brown crelly. The formula applied nicely and was opaque in two coats. If you’re in need of a staple dark brown with a great formula, In Good Taste would be perfect.
Overall, I think the Barielle Nude & Naughty collection will appeal to a lot of people. It surely took me by surprise! This collection is now available for purchase on the Barielle site for $25 as a set or individually. Let me know your thoughts on these nudes!
