Hey dolls! I was finally able to go back to work today, so I’m feeling much better although not at 100% yet. It felt so good to get out of the house! Today I have pictures for you of one of Barielle’s fall collections, New York Style. This collection is made up of four cremes and one shimmer.
Central Park is described as a creamy frosted green, but it has more of a dusty look in my opinion. Shades in this color range always make me happy, so Central Park definitely ranked at the top of this collection for me. Two coats were used for opacity.
Fifth Avenue Boutique is described as a creamy coral with orange tones. I love a great coral and feel that everyone needs this shade as a basic in their collection. Fifth Avenue Boutique’s formula was a little thicker than the others, but not problematic at all. Two coats were used for opacity.
Greenwich Village at Dawn is described as a creamy dusty pink. This shade pulls a little lavender on me. Greenwich Village at Dawn has a light green shimmer that looks amazing in the bottle, but is not as apparent on the nail unfortunately. I think this shade would be a great palette cleanser for when you need a break from brights and glitters. Three coats were used for opacity.
Soho at Night is a described as a creamy grape purple. This shade is another basic must have for a polish collection. Three coats of Soho at Night were used for opacity.
Overall, my favorites from this collection are Central Park and Greenwich Village at Dawn. The others are good basics to have, especially if you love the Barielle creme-jelly hybrid formula like I do. Barielle polishes can be purchased here for $8 each and they are typically buy one get one 50% off. For the month of December, Barielle is donating 5% of all sales to the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance. Make sure you like their facebook page because there may be other great specials throughout the month.
