Today is World Autism Awareness day and many people are wearing blue to show their support. As many of you know, in real life I’m a speech-language pathologist. Since getting my Ph.D. last year, I’m no longer providing direct therapy services (only research now), but I’ve worked with many children with autism over the years. Some of them have been my most memorable clients that I still think about and follow up with. My university, Florida State, has a wonderful Center for Autism and Related Disabilities that has been developing resources and completing research on autism spectrum disorders. Feel free to browse the site for more information on autism. Just like last year, I will feature a different blue polish each Tuesday this month in support of autism awareness, along with sharing some resources or tips.
So remember last week I said I was showing you the last of my picks from the Sinful Colors Sugar Rush collection. That wasn’t quite true because here’s one more. Sinful Colors Sugar Rush is the namesake polish of the collection. Sugar Rush is pastel blue creme with an easy to use formula. It was not as runny or streaky as some of the others from the collection. Two coats were used for opacity.
Sugar Rush is such a pretty blue! I need to compare this to my other light blues, but I don’t think I have any spot on dupes. I’ve been really impressed with the latest Sinful Colors releases, especially for the price. Now I’m really serious; this is the last polish you’ll see from the Sugar Rush collection on me.
