Today marks the second blogaversary for R&P. When I first started this blog as an outlet during my doctoral program, I had no idea I’d still be sticking with it. It has been a pleasure getting to know so many people who are just as enthused about polish as I am! I appreciate each and every one of you who read, comment, and interact with me on social media on a regular basis. Blogging takes a lot of time and effort, but you all help to make it worthwhile.
I have photos of one of my most sought after polishes for you today. This was the first polish I put onto my wish list when I created it. Illamasqua Raindrops is a light gray jelly with blue undertones that is filled with silver glass flecks. The formula is sheer, but builds up nicely. Three coats were used in the pictures below! I took both sunlight and lightbox pictures of Raindrops.
I really love Raindrops and I’m glad it lived up to the hype. It’s a very sophisticated and chic polish that gets lots of attention without being over the top, bright, or glittery. Because I think you all are awesome and I want someone to experience the same joy I had when wearing this, I ordered two bottles when Raindrops was re-released in February.
